FOUNDER-LED GAME PROTOTYPING

Turn game hypotheses into playable proof.

Snowblink designs and builds focused game prototypes for mobile and web. We shape the core loop, create the first playable, and refine the experience so teams can make the next product decision with something real in their hands.

SELECTED WORK

Built to test. Refined to be understood.

Each project below had a different purpose: validate a mechanic, complete and release an original game, test a development workflow, or translate an existing title into a short interactive experience.

48-Hour R&D Prototype

Word Game Prototype

A familiar word-puzzle format recreated as a two-day internal experiment to test Snowpulse workflows, responsive interface implementation, and AI-assisted development speed.

Project contribution

Prototype direction, Snowpulse integration, responsive UI, and AI-directed implementation.

PLAYABLE EXPERIENCES

Focused interaction in a lightweight format.

When a project needs a shorter interactive format, Snowblink can adapt a clear mechanic into a lightweight browser experience or playable-ad concept demo. Delivery requirements, network specifications, source handoff, and integration scope are defined per project.

WHAT WE BUILD

Build only what the test needs.

A prototype is not simply a smaller production game. It is a focused build designed to answer a specific question about a mechanic, audience promise, product direction, or development risk.

Rapid Game Prototyping

A focused core loop, basic onboarding, responsive game feel, presentable interface, and a testable build for mobile or web.

Iteration and Validation

Turn consolidated feedback, observations, or early test signals into purposeful changes without prematurely expanding the project into full production.

Playable Experiences

Short browser-based interactions and playable-ad concept demos built around one clear action, outcome, and technical delivery target.

Scope, technology, art requirements, handoff, and delivery cadence are defined around the product question each prototype needs to answer.

PROCESS

From product question to testable build.

  1. Define the question

Clarify the target audience, platform, product hypothesis, references, risks, and what the build must help the team learn.

  2. Shape the direction

Create the core-loop outline, interaction flow, wireframes, visual references, game-feel targets, definition of done, and explicit out-of-scope list.

  3. Build the first playable

Implement the central interaction early so the mechanic can be evaluated before excessive content or polish is added.

  4. Review game feel

Evaluate pacing, responsiveness, clarity, feedback, player motivation, and whether the experience communicates the intended promise.

  5. Present and verify

Apply the agreed visual pass, complete internal QA, verify the target devices or browsers, and prepare the test build.

  6. Deliver and iterate

Deliver the build with clear notes, gather consolidated feedback, and allocate further work toward the most valuable next question.

TECHNOLOGY

Engine-flexible by design.

The correct prototype technology depends on what is being tested, who must maintain the project, and what happens if the concept validates. Snowblink can work with standard production tools or use its own runtime where direct control creates a real advantage.

Unity

A practical choice for mobile prototypes that may continue into production, require familiar SDK integrations, need source handoff, or must be maintained by a wider development team.

  • Mobile
  • 2D and 3D
  • Standard SDK ecosystems
  • Source handoff
  • Team continuity

Snowpulse

Snowblink’s proprietary C++ game engine and development framework, used for lightweight browser builds, rapid gameplay experiments, and projects that benefit from direct control over the runtime and tooling.

  • C++
  • Browser and WebAssembly
  • Lightweight runtime
  • Custom tooling
  • Full source control

Technology is selected according to the prototype’s test requirements and continuation plan—not ideology.

AI-assisted tools are used where they accelerate implementation and asset exploration. Product judgment, architecture, review, and QA remain human-led.

CLIENT DELIVERY

Product delivery beyond prototypes.

ABOUT

Founder-led from direction to delivery.

Led by Marc Jamero

Marc is a game and software developer with more than 15 years of professional experience across Unity, C++, C#, mobile, web, custom-engine development, and product delivery. He leads game design, technical direction, implementation strategy, reviews, and client communication on every Snowblink engagement, bringing in trusted development, QA, and art collaborators when the scope requires them.

That structure keeps early prototypes close to the person making the product and technical decisions while allowing delivery capacity to expand around a clearly defined scope.
